In the first meeting of the season, the Diggers shut out the Anarchy 12 to 0.  The Anarchy wanted revenge, so the top two Idaho teams met for round two on Saturday.

The Anarchy struck first with a touchdown run by Kael Koompin.  However, the Anarchy then committed a turnover and the Diggers scored with the game going back and forth.

Blackfoot’s ground game was too much for the Diggers as Kerrick May ran for 203 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns as well.  Anarchy QB Cody Kirsch threw for a touchdown (Ryan Udy for 15 yards) and ran for one.  The Anarchy ran the table winning the game 42 to 18.

Digger QB AJ Hunter completed 12 of 25 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown to WR Emilio Polancho, who finished with 4 catches for 71 yards.  Hunter also added a score on the ground, as he rushed for 15 yards on 11 carries.  Oscar Chavez led the Digger efforts on the ground with 37 yards on 12 carries.

After the bye week, the Blackfoot Anarchy (5-2) finish the season on the road against the Logan Stampede (3-4) in Smithfield, UT.  The Mini Cassia Diggers (4-3) will host the Idaho Mustangs (3-4) in Burley, ID in their season finale.  Blackfoot will seal the Idaho Division with a victory on June 4th.
